2.3 miles out via the horse bypass. 2 miles back via the rocks. Nice loop, no overlap.

Started very dry and sandy, but became shaded and cool once you entered the bouldery canyon.

Easy hike, lots of rocks to climb on, kids enjoy it. Go early and beat the heat.

Incline for the beginning of the hike but a nice decline coming back. Near the end of the hike it gets greener and more vegetation. Would like to visit in the spring.

Watch for yellow jackets at the spring! Didn’t have an issue when we passed through but there are a lot.

This trail is definitely dog friendly up until the spring. At that point we turned around.

Nice trail for most of it- I’m not a fan of water towers etc so the beginning wasn’t very picturesque

This seems like it’s the very beginning of another trail. Very flat, I’d call this a leisurely stroll more than a hike.
