Great views from the top. This hill was sacred to the Aztecs, Mennonites, and today to Catholics who pilgrimage on Good Friday. Large crosses at the top, along with a shrine. Petroglyphs can be found as well. Short hike. There are multiple trails with varying levels of difficulty, but all pretty easy.

This is not in the Jemez, it is in Tome New Mexico

Went on Good Friday as a pilgrimage. It was packed, but that was expected. There is a beautiful view from the top. It is very rocky and straight uphill for quite a ways. If you have bad knees avoid.

Fun uphill hike, rocky but short best around Good Friday when the Pilgrims hike up the hill in honor of Christ. Some carry crosses. There is very little parking at that time.
