Since the 2012 Little Bear fire, this trail is barely discernible and mostly overgrown with pokey vegetation i.e. Thistle. We started out at the Mills Dry Trailhead on FR117 and lost the trail at about .3 miles in. Followed GPS to intersection of Mills Canyon and turned westbound to Monjeau peak. Trail is completely grown over and washed out leaving one to "bushwhack" what is believed to be Trail. It's not worthy of your time until the trail can be cut a-new. AllTrails said we're on trail but no trail could be Found. If you choose to go regardless, carry a machete to "blaze" your way. With forest burnt out, the views are awesome though. Sites you would normally not see with full foliage.

What trail?? This trail has been desecrated by the 2012 Little Bear fire. We tried and tried to find the trail, unfortunately, it simply no longer exists. We spent more than six hours fighting our way through thistle and rock. We gave up and returned to our vehicle worn, tired, and completely beaten!

Took the family 7yr and 11yr they did pretty good. Elev pretty steep, in a ravine most of the hike. Very shaded and cool. We turned around before the end probably 2.5miles if I had to guess. Total time was a little over an hour. Not a bad trail but mountains really close on both sides not much view.
