This is a nice, relatively casual loop trail. Parking is fairly limited, and this trail is not as "lightly trafficked" as AllTrails claims. We hiked this trail at the beginning of December, and it was fairly covered in packed snow turned into ice, so be sure to bring proper hiking boots, and be very careful about slipping and falling. I slipped on an icy incline, and got a minor laceration in the middle of my left palm after catching myself on a pointy rock. The Dale Ball Trails are a significant network of paths, so exploration-based hiking is easy.

Very nice easy portion of the trail though there are a few rocky areas. First half had no shade but later shaded by evergreens. The top is scenic and enjoyable. The leader of the hike said it was a dryed out stream in parts.

Beautiful views and scenery on the way up and at the top. A lot of mild switchback and mostly uphill but beautiful area and a great overall hike!
