I did enjoy hiking this trail. There were many places on this trail that got pretty narrow. Those people who have children, I wouldn’t recommend them taking children under the age of about 7. Even though I don’t have children but it’s not very safe for them to walk with you in my opinion. The views were magnificent and you couldn’t ask for anything more.

Hiked this trail almost every morning with dogs. Usually takes 1-1.5 hr. Decent amount of shade and parking. Not super strenuous

Great hike with low-key elevation, an amble through the woods. Well maintained trails.

I got here at 6 and was the first car in the lot, only saw about 10 people! Definitely dog friendly, a little loose rocks at time but nothing unmanageable. Perfect for my first hike in NM

The trail head is easy to find, and the trail itself is well marked. The trail is dotted with easy to read and understand maps posted at each junction. It is a very peaceful and enjoyable trail. Recommended for all ages and breeds.

This is easy, quiet walk. I would imagine a lovely place to take your dogs on an evening stroll or a morning jog. Views of the city and the mountains. Very similar views and plant life throughout.

Excellent short trail close to the city, perfect for a before-work hike or run. If you want to make it longer there are a number of options. Trail very well marked and very well maintained.

Greatly enjoyed this trail. Beautiful views and foliage. We live 600 feet above sea level and aren’t used to hills, but this was still relatively easy for us. Would definitely recommend

This is a really beautiful trail. I love how many connections there are to other trails. You can go to this park and build-your-own hike depending on how much time you have. You could hike a mile or twenty and see great views.

Best maintained trail we’ve ever been on. Lots of minor ups and downs, interesting plants, adequate shade. Want to do more sections of the Dale Ball trails.
