The Cruz Blanca Trailhead lies on the east side of the St. John's parking lot. After 1.27 miles the trail intersects with the Dorthy Stewart and Atalaya Mountain Trails. Short trail providing access to the Atalaya mountain trail in Santa Fe.

This "trail" runs right along side the road for the most part. I wouldn't ever recommend this trail on its own, but it is handy for accessing other trails. For instance, Dorthy Stewart trailhead only has 3ish parking spaces, but you could park at St. John's and use this trail to access DS.

Very easy well maintained trail. Would be an excellent first hike for someone just getting into hiking or exercise. Would definitely be suitable for very young children. 95% is off-road stroller friendly but it isn't a paved trail.

I DID IT! I was diagnosed with brain cancer in November 2014. This is my FIRST post-cancer trail. It's short and easy. BUT (!) I DID IT! Bonus: we saw several types of wildflowers.

This is more like a sidewalk than a trail. However, it may be good to use if the smaller/closer trail-heads to the Atalaya trail and Dale Ball trails are full.
