Great drive into the caverns. Very scenic. Has a few scenic turnouts for viewing and pictures. Has a short hike available enroute. Best done if you have time after the cavern tours.
Nice area and the Carlsbad Cavern area is a unique treasure for the area.
A scenic drive to Carlsbad Caverns.
Nice little 7 mile road from White City to Carlsbad Caverns through a scenic canyon. I also saw a lizard crossing the road.
Start in White's City, and drive up a canyon until you arrive at the Caverns parking lot. The scenic loop starts just outside the parking lots and meanders through desert terrain and re-joins with the entrance road about halfway.
