The trail is also named T5005. You will find some intersections with other trails but continue on T5005 until you arrive to the other trailhead at Benson Ridge Rd. The trail is in good condition, rocky in some sections but not difficult to walk, steep but not too much. The last half of a mile is the steeper section of the entire trail, but it does not worry much because many beautiful aspen trees welcome you to the last part of the trail. Big part of the trail you walk under the shade of the beautiful pine trees, admiring the beauty of the mountains, arroyos, and all the plants and flowers normal during this rainy season. It is fascinating the quaking aspen trees sound. It is possible that during your journey butterflies of all colors will be accompanying you. Also, hawks, squirrels and birds will welcome you to this amazing place.

Amazing trail in the middle of the forest! I loved walking under the shade of the pine trees and admire the spectacular scenery. During most of the journey, butterflies were flying near me, like telling me that I was welcome to their home. Listening also the quaking aspen trees was a very pleasing moment. All the trail is steep but not much, only the last half of a mile is steeper. The weather was nice, although is rainy season, it was only cloudy part of the day, so, it was a fantastic hiking day!
