Old car in the middle of the woods. Great views at the turn around. Very confusing. I made it a turn around trail, couldn't find the loop for the way back. Whenmko I got back to the trailhead I started to follow the Orange markers in the opposite way but accounting to the GPS I was going way off track. Turned around and called it a day.

Great to be in the great outdoors and walk in my brother’s footsteps.

Very nice short hike. The way up was a narrow trail, marked fairly well. Some rocky sections but nothing my 7 year old and 11 year old couldn’t handle. We brought our 14 week old springer spaniel and she did fine as well. The top ends at Hawk Watch. The day was so clear that we could make out the NYC skyline which was cool. The way back is on a gravel road or you could just retrace the trail up. Very enjoyable hike overall.

This was a moderate short trail that provided a very beautiful view at the halfway point. The trail is poorly marked and some of the orange that is there is faded so stay diligent. There are bugs flying everywhere and I even saw a rat! Also some poison ivy so be on the lookout.

Great short hike, but beware of the poison ivy all along the sides of the trail.

Young forest with crossing trails for a great workout. The only view is from the Hawks Nest. Otherwise a narrow semi dirt/boulder trail that immerses you in quiet. Not to buggy, but no water source. Be sure to come prepared with plenty of water on a summer day.

First to Review

Descent size parking area at the trailhead. This loop as mapped follows the orange trail to a nice view and then back down a gravel road. Well maintained and blazed. Heavily trafficked area, but worth a visit. Lots of intersecting trails to extend your time here. Some trash around so be respectful and bring a bag to help carry it out.
