Didn’t get to go up, the white trail is closed for the winter because eagles nest on the trail! Just an FYI for anyone looking to go.

HikingGreat!

I enjoyed this trail, but didn't get quite the views of Round Valley that I was hoping for because of tree cover. We'll have to come back in the fall. It's quite an incline at the beginning, so pace yourself. The rest is smooth sailing.

I give this 5. Beautiful views and a semi-challenging trail that would wouldn't expect in Central Jersey.

good trail with hills rocks and water. there is a portion of the alltrails highlighted trail that goes off the marked trail. it is not even a trail. I would just stick to the trail as the highlighted trail brings you back to the actual trail.

Nice trail, lots of options. I will do it again.you come to a fence near the dam and you have go down a very steep trail along the fence to pick the trail back up

Great hiking trail. Came home and both my son and I had a tick. I never got had a tick issue with other hiking trails.

Unfortunately, I had to cut my hike short because of time. But that's only due to spending so much time by the water. It was a gorgeous day, although a bit on the chilly side. The initial climb up was a bit strentuous (but I'm also carrying 30-40 lbs in a pack as well). After you get up the initial climb, you're treated to a view of the Reservoir, at least at this time of year. This trail leads to a fence with signs for private property. The descent is steep and a little sketchy but the fence is helpful to make your way down. And once you do, you're treated to a beautiful view of the Reservoir and the surrounding mountains. The terrain is fairly easy after the initial climb. I had lunch at "76", and enjoyed some quiet time by the water. I made my way back by cutting straight up to the blue trail and back to the parking lot. Will definitely return here, especially with others since it's not too difficult. Boots or trailrunners preferred, regardless.

Awesome hike! Once your cross the ridge and on your way down, the beach is in sight. The views are incredible and well worth the steep trail. Would definitely do again

Beautiful hike! One you cross the ridge you’re walking along the water for a decent amount of it. Elevation is steep but well worth it.

It is lovely! There are small variations within. If you get to the reserve and choose to walk back through the rocky shore, you have to get back to the trail walking next to a fence which is very slippery and steep, not the best for kids less than 10.

Very nice hike. Went on a Sunday and it was not too crowded at all! Will be back. Make sure to bring water, there is a good amount of up and down hills. Beautiful views of the water, I recommend going by the water for a break for some serenity and a nice view.

Midway through you end up at a chain link fence with a no trespassing sign that makes you have to walk down a steep hill to get back on a trail which can be quite confusing.

Very steep at parts, great workout. Make sure to follow the GPS, blazes could be better. Beautiful view of the water. Overgrown in parts and lots of bugs but it’s summer so it’s expected.
