Always a lovely trail to get outside on a lovely day. There are a few Itty bitty elevations but friendly for all levels. As of 3/12/21 it's quite muddy in some places. Don't be like me, wear your boots! Will continue to come back here on a regular basis.

Very muddy but nice views of the lake. The small uphills and downhills made the terrain interesting. Not too many mountain bikers. The parking lot adjacent to the trail was packed, so we drove to the eastern side of the trail and parked at the Chimney Rock baseball field. (There’s a tiny marker for the trail )

Found this trail on a whim and didn’t do much research before heading over. I was surprised by how nice it was. The kids liked the up and down hilliness to it and the view of the lake and fall foliage was a hit for the adults. There was a spot or two where the trail markings could have been better and you need to keep alert for mountain bikers.

A bit overgrown, with a couple trees over the trail. Very well marked though, so hopefully they'll take care of it soon.

First to Review

This hike has a bit of everything . Muddy paths, rocky paths, gravel paths and tight closed in paths. A hard wood forest ,a cedar tree grove ,a reservoir and a stream . Not to mention a small 10 foot scramble at the start .
