Getting There

This trail is experiencing full or partial closure due to COVID-19. Please see the open trails nearby for alternate hiking options.

When you park at the baseball field, go to the street and make a right. Look for a trail indication on the left side of the street - there is a small post on the grass next to a house entrance, that's the beginning of the trail. Cross through the wooden bridge on the right, follow the trail.

We went off trail a few times, some on purpose and some not! I wish the trails were more consistently marked and a little wider in parts but otherwise really nice, good length hike!

It is well marked with some areas... a lot over growing and bugs... and couple place have to cross the road ! Some is hard to find a way back on the right track ! But over all it is a good hike ! Hiking shoes is high recommend! The rock hurt my feet with regular running shoes

Without this AllTrail app forget it you will get off trail. First part had NO markings. I felt this was more for teen hangouts. Over grown in some paths.

It was a nice little hike! I brought my dog but sadly it was far too hot out for him :(. I can’t wait to go back!

Hiking

Nice hike minus traffic and quarry noise in middle during road crossovers. Varied terrain including deciduous forest and wetlands. Saw multiple blue jays, a stunning cardinal and white tailed deer. Frisbee golf course by park was a pleasant surprise and worth coming back to play.

The final portion around the reservoir was the best part of this trail. We could have done without the blue loop which was very muddy and wooded with not much to look at. There are portions where you have to cross the busy road but it’s minimal.

easy to moderate trail with some creek crossings. Wear boots if it rains the day prior.

Loved this trail but very rocky! The beginning can be confusing and I had to follow the map most of the time to not get lost (and help figure out where I am). It was beautiful though especially the reservoir.

Love this trail! You can customize how long you go by choosing as you walk! I usually stop around mile 2 and set up the hammock by the lake

The trail head is hard to find from the parking lot the app takes you too and trail isn’t marked for first 1.5 miles. You have to cross 3 main road along the way but it was a gorgeous hike, definitely moderate. Saw a lot of cool wildlife

Blue rail has been ravaged by mountain bikers so would NOT recommend that portion of it. Trail is torn to shreds. The rest is a nice leisurely walk through woods with ample shade.
