Good water views on a part of the trail and it runs really close to the lake. There’s a small pretty waterfall as you near one end of the trail - the trail itself was a bit rocky for me which brought my rating down to 4 stars.

Legit hiking trail. Navigated with my 5 and 7 yr old who handled the terrain at a reasonable pace. Rocky. Muddy with lots of water pathways. Moderate elevation change. Fun Trail and will definitely hike again.

Nice elevation gain. Rocky. Picturesque with the changing leaves. Trails are sometimes hard to follow. Watch the app and GPS position.

First time visiting this park even though I live in Somerset County, not much elevation change but a very enjoyable hike. Did 6.5 miles starting on the Red trail, crossed Chiminey Rock Road to the Orange Trail which is not clearly blazed. Then proceeded to the Yellow Trail to the Falls and Hawk watch. We will definitely be back only wish people would learn to respect the land as well as social distancing guidelines.

This is a great trail, especially for those with dogs!! Be prepared for some mud though, but definitely still walkable with the mud!!

First to Review

All Trails map does not completely follow the red trail. Many spring blossoms. Wear boots for mud.
