It has nice elevation and scenery variation from woods to fields along the hike. We went after it rained and it was quite muddy, so definitely recommend wearing boots.

Good for hiking. Not trail running. Tight, with lots of rocks and logs. I had to go pretty slow.

Really nice hike that weaves it’s way through the heart of Readington. Trail is also frequented by horses, so watch out for pies. Also a lot of poison ivy, so if you’re allergic watch your step. You can also expand this hike when you reach the open field by heading towards the river. Highly recommend, a nice little hidden gem.
