First time on the trail today and I loved it! No crowds, only saw a few people (no masks) but I was there around 8ish and it was raining which made the trail muddy (but so fun) and slippery on the rocks. I didn't get to run the whole 10 miles because of the rocks and inclines and steep declines, but I'd come back if I wanted to run a little and hike a lot because that's basically what I did today. Saw a frog and a salamander in the rain which was a treat. This is a beautiful, well-marked trail that I will visit again and again.

Trail was well marked but very crowded, did both loops to make it a 10 mile hike and was very enjoyable.

Very well marked trails. Great spot to be able to choose your difficulty. Blue/white are easier and can be very heavily trafficked especially near Tripod Rock. Red/orange/green passed very few people, lots of rocks, some mud, and steeper inclines. Do to COVID parking restrictions, it can be very hard to find a (legal) spot. Definitely get here EARLY if it is going to be a nice day/weekend. For those concerned, other hikers who also had masks were about 50/50. All hikers were as respectful as possible about distancing from each other, but expect crowds if you are going to Tripod Rock or Lucy’s Overlook.

Great trail. AllTrails map needs updating a bit but trails are very well marked. Gets very crowded after 8am.

Really enjoyed this one. Enough varied terrain with a fun scramble up the Red. Nice views. A nice mix of easy flat/slight inclines to steady climbing.

Hiked this morning (around 10:30an) in my weighted vest. Saw a decent amount of people on trail, but when I finished and got back to the parking lot, it was full. Good hiking trail with multiple things to do on trail. Recorded my hike, only went off trail once, and it ended up about 5 miles. Some muddy and rocky areas, so I see why it is rated as moderate. Overlooks were very nice and Tripod rock was cool. Ran into a large, black snake vibrating his tail (maybe Racer back?) on the blue trail before tripod rock if done counterclockwise, so watch out!! Overall, very nice hike.

Lots of people at the start and end but things thin out in the middle good amount of ups and downs
