Tindey Trail Loop is a 3.9 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Beachwood, New Jersey that offers the chance to see wildlife. The trail is good for all skill levels and is primarily used for hiking, running, and mountain biking. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Easy trail that is well marked. Wear hiking shoes, some muddy spots.
Nice easy 4 mile walk. I'd rate it higher, but with the trail a typical "3" feet wide, the county should never have allowed bikes. Obviously the bikers never pull off into the brush ( strange folk), so if you're walking on a weekend, prepare for an interrupted hike.
Nice trails, but it’s so close to the parkway you can escape the noise.
a very easy trail for all ages, but the trails are a bit overgrown in some areas. there are LOTS of bugs. biting flies, tics, etc. also quite a few snakes. it's a beautiful park. the trails are labeled clearly and are very easy to navigate. the paths are quite narrow but the park is not very crowded so it's not an issue.
Great trail. Very windy and secluded. Which I love. The scenery is pretty and lots of different types of wooded areas. Made for a nice relaxing and peaceful hike.
I really enjoyed this trail for my weekend run. I liked the fact that there’s elevation changes and you get to see different areas of the forest. You do share the trail with mountain bikers though, so some areas were a little bit muddy. Otherwise, I would 10/10 do this trail again.
Easy hike through the pines. Many shaded areas, a few benches throughout, and a couple of hills. Only one muddy area the day I went but nothing that wasn't passable. A lot of dry, somewhat overgrown brush right now. Overall, it's a great trail for a quick hike! Also good for dogs and running.
good dog friendly trail in a neighborhood park, with play areas for kids at the trail head. not very quiet as its located not far from the parkway but still a good few milea fornfresh air and excersize.
