Has several views along the ridge. The low water makes the trail understated with ups and downs that are flat and grassy. Mines where bricked. Skippable.

The historic ruins were awesome! The views were incredible. The rain however made things a tad more difficult. The whole loop is definitely not for the beginner....

Nice loop and not a lot of people... copper mine portion is more interesting with waterfalls than Kaiser Side

Also justion of AT and Kaiser trail is not marked well... kaiser trail markers are sometimes blue squares and sometime white vinyl squares nailed to trees...

copper trail is well marked with red markers and junction with AT is obvious...

i enjoyed this hike

Beautiful hike and trail. Waterfalls throughout. Easy to follow markers. Not too busy. Not really a hard trail.

I rated this 5 stars more for the great scenery and views. If you take the loop from Kaiser trail to AT you get some fantastic views from AT. Great time of the year for this as the sky is so clear. Also the walk along Copper Trail is very cool as you follow along what looks to me like a combination river/rapids/falls. Very nice indeed. I don't know (my opinion) that it is a hard hike. If you hike enough this is more of a medium hike. Not a sneaker walk as I see a lot of people do. Didn't come across any copper lol.

Went during the most beautiful day in March. Definitely an incredible view once you get to the top, it's incredibly worth it. I personally wouldn't say this trail is difficult.

Tied this loops to the Douglas/Rock Cores/Garvey Springs loop connected with an out and back on the A/T (Raccoon Ridge). The run was decent, however the vista was extremely crowded with people drinking booze and eating pizza...so much for an enjoyable view.
