This is a great web of trails through very nice forest and a large variety of habitats. Still no bugs as of May 21, but lots of summer birds. The trails are very wide and there are maps at every intersection. I hope to bring my son here when he is older.

Great stroll on mostly level trails with some boarded paths. Swamps all around as well as ponds. Trails are well marked and diverse scenery.

This is an easy, well-marked and wooded looped trail with a small pond to start and finish. Muddy in certain areas but manageable. Good when you don’t have much time

Trails are open again as of 5/7/20. Trails are in very good condition. Slightly muddy in sections from rain but otherwise easy trail, largely planked. Great for kids.

Wonderful place for a run. Be prepared for lots of bugs. Wear repellent & long sleeves& long running pants. Best way to do this to avoid bugs, ticks & mud. Lots of great trails and some new ones that have been added.

Trail was very muddy with long grass in areas. It is kid friendly because it is a flat, easy trail, but the muddy trail, bugs, and long grass had us turning back to the gravel trails.

Very muddy as expected on a rainy day. At couple of places, the board walk is unstable. Watch out for nails sticking out of wood boards.

Watch out for loose floor boards on swamp pathways as well as some sticking out nails.

I’ve always loved hiking the great swamp. I know there are some areas I have yet to explore but this is a great place in the early spring and fall to explore (summer might be too hot and full of mosquitos!)

Nice variety of trail loop options. Indoor bathrooms at the Environmental Education Center. I’ve seen snakes, deer, chipmunks, rabbits, and of course many species of birds and amphibians.

Nice flat trail. Saw lots of wildlife- frog, turtle, hawks, blue heron. There is an elevated bird watching station along the eastern edge of the trail

Hiked with a Cub Scout pack, 6 scouts of varying ages. Took us 2.5 hrs, took tons of breaks and ate lunch on the trail. Much drier than we expected since it was early spring. Loved the bridges. Want to try it again late spring to see some wild flowers.

simple and easy but still a nice trail through a marshy swamp.

we did the orange, green and being trail. it's an easy trail but the problem is that it is not well maintained.keep you hands and legs covered as you might get hurt with shrubs while walking. better carry a machete to clear the way as you walk. look out for the thorns and ticks. carry a strong insect spray. not much to see as the area is full of mud and swamps.

Excellent area to hike. Many boardwalks thru marshy areas, there are some muddy areas - expect to get your foot ware to get wet and muddy. Some buggy areas, in summer I can see the bugs being a problem. Bring bug spray. Overall it was an enjoyable hike. Highly recommended!
