The beginning of this trail was disappointing, lots of trash and two used condoms within the first mile (pack out what you pack in, people!). Seems like the trailhead is a local hangout. The trail was more Rocky than I was expecting and quite challenging towards the back half with significant uphills. That said, I had about 45 pounds on my back (I carry my two year old in a kid carrier during hikes). Once we were in a little further it was quite nice and quiet.

Great trail but not well marked everywhere. Hard to follow without a map or if not well familiar.
