The best way to get on the unmarked Stony Brook trail is to walk down the far end of the lot, away from the lake area. On the right corner there is a trail you can follow along the brook and through the picnic area were you then pick up the Silver Mine Trail. Continue along the Silver Mine Trail until it branches away from the Brook. At this point follow the unmarked trail along the Stony Brook. Eventually the trail comes out to a barn and road. Take the road till it dead ends. This is were you pick up the Blue Mt trail. Take Blue Mt trail to the orange Silver Mine. Then back to the start.

This trail was not what we expected. We walked along the orange marked trail labeled silver mine loop and it lead us to a new trail. The new trail took us 6.8 miles away from my car and we ended up walking a total of 10.7 miles that day. It was a fun adventure but for someone who isn't familiar with the area I would not reccomend. I have been hiking for 10+ years and this has never happened to me. Their are trail markers everywhere but they are poorly marked

Very quiet, pretty trail. It was slightly rocky in places, but a nice walk.

Some over grown areas. $5 during the week and $10 per car on weekends.

It’s not my favorite hike in the area but it’s nice enough- parts of the trail were really overgrown. NOTE***You do have to pay $5 for NJ residents (more if out of state) to enter the park.

This is a great trail for a moderate hike. Not quite 4 miles though despite what all trails has listed. Overgrown in some spots. Bring bug spray and a pole or stick to clear the webs as you hike.

Well marked trail through the woods. Peaceful but nothing special.

Quick easy hike, I did the loop clockwise to save the waterfall for last. Waterfall was nice, nothing much else to see on this trail though. The 10 dollar entrance fee is way too steep in my opinion so I wont be heading back.

Definitely a fun hike. The park has it as a moderate hike due to the multiple trails you take to make up the loop. But really great walk and saw some cool spot.

The hike is moderately easy and moderately interesting. The falls were nice, but in an area with as many as the Delaware Water Gap they're not impressive. I get excited when a trail includes an historical feature, but the silver mine is nothing more than a small gap in the rocks filled with stagnant water. At least there were some toads.

Great hike for beginners through a forest. Make sure to stop by the river and the old silver mine.

A nice trail that shows off all the best parts of Stokes. Some nice waterfalls and plenty of gorgeous scenery to take in. Not a hard hike at all.
