HikingGreat!Muddy

Great trail with lots of land. It gets crowded quickly though and parking is tight, so plan your time accordingly! The earlier the easier it is to park, and the less people on the trails. Currently a ton of trees down.

nice and relatively easy trail with nice water views. a bit annoying with having to move out of the way for mountain bikers but otherwise fine. even my 4 year old was able to do the entire hike.

We went off trail to get to beach. It was a little tough on the way down but easy once we got down. Climbing up the Battery at the end was a great vista

Great trail. Has a little bit of everything...park benches, rough terrain, views, historical, working restrooms.

HikingBlowdownGreat!

It was a very easy hike. I was surprised to be very close to the ocean but feeling like I was in the mountains of Vermont. Once you start hiking, you can’t believe you're that close to the ocean. There are multiple trails at this site and after finishing the Rocky Point Loop (3 miles), we decided to hike the Grand Tour, which is an additional 5 miles and a bit more moderate. Afterward, we sat on a picnic table and had our lunch overlooking Seagate beach and the Atlantic Ocean. Awesome views. This is a great hike for kids and the whole family...even the dog.

HikingGreat!

Mixed use and very serpentine like a mountain bike trail, which was something a little different. There were also some views of the Navesink River and Rumson Township through the trees, but nothing too special. Forest itself was like all the other ones in NJ
