This trail is good for trout fishing. A good nature walk for locals. You can’t follow the trail show because it is overgrown but you can walk through the campsites to walk more. Overall a nice trail along the Toms River

I couldn’t get the trail to loop back. It some cases the trails were tiny but then again I could of gone off the trail. The bigger trial was well marked but tried to stick with this loop which seems to be overgrown. The trail by the stream was nice and camp grounds were well marked.

lots of downed trees and branches in the pathways. doesn't look like it's used much. we also got tick bombed. 1000s of itty bitty baby ticks. other than that it's pretty but def wouldn't go back

the full 2 mile trail was a bit muddy and overgrown filled with ticks. I opted for the short 1 mile route that is recorded. The one mile trail I recorded is great for running and dog walking.

Near the middle of the trail you have two paths, the one going forward has a tent sign while the other path facing left has no sign. I went towards the tent sign, following other people and people behind us followed too. All of us wound up losing the path because it was the wrong way. So if it's your first time going through here, make a left turn when you reach these two paths. Also don't forget to bring bug spray, found 4 ticks on me at the end of the walk. Otherwise good easy hike, plenty of nice scenery.

enjoyed the water that ran through it but the trails aren't really marked and the map at the entrance is difficult to read, making it hard to stick to a loop. They do have an amazing Rodeo style park for the kiddos though
