Ramapo Lake from Pool Hollow Trailhead is a 5.3 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Oakland, New Jersey that features a lake and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options.
The parking area for this trail is simply a pullout with room for only 2-3 cars. Additional parking for Ramapo Lake is available on Skyline Dr.

There is a pull off on the right side of Pool Hollow Ave as soon as you turn off W Oakland Ave. You need to walk to the end of Pool Hollow Ave to start the hike.

First to ReviewModerately difficult out and back hike. Rocky and muddy in February. Scenery except west from the summit was unimpressive and mostly of I-287. The cannonball trail bridge is an interesting feature. Getting to the summit from The Macevoy trail side is better. Likely one and done.
