Trails are maintained well for mostly smooth sailing. A few of the small offshoot loops have a lot of bare roots jutting out so it makes for dicey running. Just use those patches for a heart rate recovery

Lots of shade. Fun with company, spotted some deers. It was my first time watching a Fish Nest. Enjoyable.

Oooops! Forgot to mention I seem to recall the people there said there were nesting eagles in the area. (At 73, I have a great memory - just short - so double check me on this). Activity date is approximate as it was on prior comment.
