Great easy trail along a lake. Very muddy in certain areas. Took about an hour to get to the middle point of the lake & back with a few stops for pictures. But there’s plenty of other trails to be walked for a much longer walk/hike.

Great trail! The view was so nice, I went out to the middle of the lake to see it twice. I'd recommend this trail to anyone looking for a short hike on a nice day with family or friends. Great for dates for sure. Bring boots because it gets pretty muddy. The traffic is pretty high near the lake too, but clears out as you get deeper into the loop. The last bit of the loop is also kind of hard to find, but there are two ways you can go. ***Make sure you don't bring your dog because this trail does not allow dogs.

Solid trail with a lot of wildlife. Trails are very muddy bring boots. Would rate higher but the noise pollution from the nearby Amtrak corridor and gun club breaks the natural sounds from the park. Will only repeat due to location.

I recommend this trail for a quick walk/run in a wooded area. Follows a wide gravel path for .5 mile then goes into a variety of wooded area. Had to go in my sneakers but there definitely were some very muddy parts towards the south end of the loop. Lots of flies in certain area but that’s when I started running. Be careful not to miss the blue trail on your left when you have the train tracks on your right. That’s when I was running because it was so clean and straight and I flew right by it for about 300 yards. At the end it was real nice to sit on the bench by the lake.
