My go to place to get my daily power walk. Beautiful reservoir, perfect for all ages. Lots of shades and benches around the reservoir. Restrooms available.

Great flat walk with kids. We brought scooters and was super fun. Not too crowded and most people wore masks

Walking

This is not a trail. It’s a wide paved road around the Reservior. Very nice. Often super busy! Shade and sun. Fishing. Swan boat rides. Snack bar... but you be never seen it open. Covered pavilion. Lots of benches and seating all around.

HikingGreat!

My trail to go to if I don't have time to drive far. It is always well maintained. On sunny days you will find lots of turtles swimming or sunbathing. At this point the trail is one way only. I always park at the restaurant. There is a bathroom at the swan boat area.

WalkingBugsOff trail

-Pet friendly -main route flat paved walkway/loop -entrances throughout loop to hiking trail and zoo/boathouse -some mosquitos near seating areas closer to water (near smaller bridge) To avoid the crowd be sure to hit the trail early in the AM. I started the trail around 7:45 AM and the crowd was already moderate in size. The only downside I’d say is having to SOMEHOW maintain a 6 ft distance with so many people that walk at different paces (some even going in the opposite direction of the one-way signs and others not even wearing a mask), hence going early. Love watching the geese! & beautifully relaxing view though!

Less of a “trail” and more of a “park”. Easy walk, beautiful view of the lake and south mountain further out. Great for families, kids, seniors, and dogs (leashed). During covid, masks are required for entry.

A walk for recuperating from a torn hamstring. Sun reflecting off the lake on a cold winter day, no incline, paved path. Dr can’t argue against that.
