Great trail for a beginner work out, lots of options to mix in other trails and detours. Kind of crowded but everyone really good about putting on their masks when passing.

Nice easy hike. Get here in the morning and you won’t hit as many crowds even though I didn’t think it was that busy at 10-11a.

This basic loop is a good starting plan, with many options to change it up based on your preferences. Arriving early (9am on a Saturday), there was already a decent amount of people near popular areas like Hemlock Falls and Washington Rock. The River Trail portion also had a lot of people. What I did was cross to the west side of the river and proceed on some of the more isolated trails there, which had much less people. It also seems like a lot of people avoid the elevation gains on the Lenape (yellow) trail, so that also had less people.

Pretty flat for first half. Runs along the creek but not close enough for you to see it the entire tome unless you move off trail.

Loved this Hike. At some points it was very crowded, but overall we were able to be on our own.

Wonderful trail once we were on the Lenape. Root footholds and beautiful overhead. Unfortunately the recording continued after we got in the car. So we only did about 3.6 miles on foot. The first part is gravel and not so nice. There are some offshoots right as you enter the trailhead.

Nice, easy trail. No waterfalls, so I’m not sure why that’s tagged. It’s rocky in some parts but not difficult.

for how busy this park is you would think they would take the time to mark the trails. use the app or you will get lost. we probably would have loved it here but it took an extra 3 miles of hiking to figure out how to get out. the water fall is nice, but so much foot traffic you feel like you are on a school trip rather than a hike. we are not new to hiking so just make sure that you use a gps. will not be back

Markings on the trail could be better and some areas were very muddy which made large mud patches unavoidable. Mostly shaded and not too buggy during late May. Trail was popular the day I went but was still enjoyably empty.

Nice and flat trail by a small river. Easy to social distance with a small viewpoint detour that we took. There was a lot of shade on the trail, which was nice to have on a sunny day.

Quite a bit of crowds later on in the day. Waterfall was pretty but account for crowding.
