This NJ Audubon Society Property is a fully staffed nature center and education center on 13 acres in Franklin Lakes. It has a historic home, many beautiful wildlife enhancements and native plants, and nature trails. They are not miles-long hiking trails, but are wonderful nature trails that you can go through slowly. A large deer-enclosure fence has been installed, so you can see the seldom-seen native plants coming back to life, without excessive deer browsing.
