Starts by a freeway which is noisy and unpleasant but improves after you get beyond the noise.

Good for the purpose it serves: very flat, scenic, perfect for running, biking, etc. Several bridges and some river access for fishing. Entrance is a bit difficult to find if you don't know where you're looking.

Good afternoon walk to get some miles in. It’s an out and back, no hills, no scrambles or climbing but pleasant. Will be back with someone.

Flat, obvious (once you're on it), quiet trail, with a couple points near small bodies of water, but otherwise fairly boring. Probably better for biking or running. No complaints.

Bird watchingGreat!

Easy walking trail alongside small bodies of water. Very pleasant with a lot of birds. I went at 1pm and it wasn’t crowded per se, but I had to frequently veer off to the side to allow bikers to pass, so I wasn’t thrilled with that. Also, finding the trail was difficult. Be sure to park at Fox Lumber Company, and look for the crushed stone path leaving the parking lot.

Has anyone in the last week, heard about a snake being in the trails? I was walking this morning and a little kid told me to be careful.

Nice and easy like a tow path with nice stretches of shade. The mile markers were clear and lots of bird sightings and sounds but not as many views of the water as I had hoped. I wish they didn’t allow bikes right now because they make it harder to keep a safe distance from others. There aren’t many places to pull over off the path.

Nice and easy like a tow path with decent stretches of shade. There are clear mile markers and lots of bird sightings and pretty sounds but not as many view of the water as I’d hoped for. I wish bikes were not allowed right now because it made it more difficult to keep a safe distance. There aren’t really places to pull off of the trail to space out or just take a break.

This was a nice, easy walk. Lots of bird song in the morning. dome road noise from Route 78. Beautiful meadows and streams.

While I'm not much of a hiker, this trail was beautiful and just the right length for me to bring my 81 year old father and 19 year old daughter. It was an easy hike, very level on gravel and the sides were mowed cleanly. There were several bridges that went over streams. We totally enjoyed it and look forward to more hiking soon. Finding the trail head (behind Fox Lumber) was a little frustrating but I guess that's half the fun.

Nice flat trail, easy bike ride. We like to ride the trial it to the end, walk the bikes around Clinton and get ice cream, then ride back

First to Review

Trail by Fox Lumber is flat gravel rail to trail conversion. Additional trail by Lower Landsdown Road is smooth and quick single and double track. It is well maintained and a fun, fast ride on a mountain bike.
