Work has been done to reconnect the red loop. trails are well mark. there is work going on to clean the trails up after floods washed out some bridges and boardwalks. Overall it was a good hike

Not a bad little loop trail but muddy as hell considering it hasn’t rained in 2 weeks. Wear shoes/boots you’re not too concerned with.

Nice trails. Could be marked a bit better, but overall a very pretty area. Looks like many of the bridges and muddy area have been fixed and improved. Really nice area.

Progress has been made to improve the trails. Lots of nice little wooden bridges over the muddier areas. It is a nice 2ish mile walk.

The “lake” is pretty small and a lot of bridges are washed out. Some planks have been laid as replacements but it’s cutty. Overgrown trail. I’d only come here to fish

We found this trail to be very hard to stay on. Somehow we hiked almost 5 miles staying on the red trail and were getting nervous it would never end. No Trail map or cell service. Prob wouldn’t do this one again.

Beautiful trail!! The first time we couldn’t figure out the whole loop, this was our second trip and we were pretty much able to stay on the gps trail the whole time with some backtracking.

It was nice to get out for a few hours but once you pass the lake and take the trails, there are some very muddy spots to get past (you kinda just gotta hope for the best here!). It was a pretty area and I would go back again with hiking boots / old sneakers that I don’t care about getting muddy.

Parts of the trails aren’t exactly obvious and almost confusing. I had to backtrack at a point to find the trail. I didn’t have enough time to really explore. A lot of the bridges need maintenance It’s a very beautiful place

This is a short loop and well blazed in the beginning but poorly blazed at the end. Rocky a muddy. Not flat when you get past Lake. This would be a 5 if blazed correctly.

Hiked (much?) of the park a few days ago. I question much because there seemed to be a fair number of secondary trails not shown on All trails map. No printed trail maps were available at the park and probably would have been useful if the smaller trails are shown. Great park that has a bit of everything. Marshy area (with wooden bridges). heavily wooded trails, stream views, hilly sections. For a smaller park you feel quite secluded. The trails start off wide and well maintained by the pond and quickly become tighter and rockier.

Seems like a lesser traveled set of trails - at some points a bit unsure of the trail due to fall leaves covering the forest floor, but lots of markers on trees once you get past the lake. There were no trail maps available, but I used the AllTrails map on my phone and was able to ensure I was heading in the right direction. Hiked with a 5 year old 2.5 miles, and we did enjoy the day. Great for kids.
