Bathrooms were surprisingly clean. The path was pretty rocky but fun. It was a great small hike.

Took a short hike on the green trail, then did the white trail. I would consider white more of a moderate trail, lots of exposed tree roots and if you end up on the circular trail, it's very rocky and quite challenging. Trails are very well marked which is helpful, as parts of the trail become murky and it's easy to lose where you are. Keep your eyes on the marked trees and you'll be ok. Bring bug spray, they weren't too bad but they let you know they were there ;) A beautiful hike, along the green trail is a nice brook where you can dip your feet to cool off.

Not very long, but very entertaining and relatively difficult hiking trail if you are not into rocky style. Very well kept and had quite a good infrastructure of rest/BBQ areas. Would recommend for anyone willing to have a short relaxed and nature filled hiking.

Nice streams. I'll definitely come back again and do a BBQ. They have a nice park with a grill and picnic tables

This is a go to hike. Not a ton of people on the trail but enough around to make you feel comfortable to hike it solo. green trail to white trail then back to green.

I have hiked these trails and led hikes for the county on National Trails Day. Though the above title may indicate otherwise, Hedden Park is part of the large and well-managed Morris County Park system. The trails are generally good for all levels of hiking experience/fitness, and are nice for dog walks. Crowds vary with weather and season.
