The parking spot is for retail stores..kinda scared i get a ticket..what i do is i drove some more where i park in a bigger retail stores(target) parking lot.
This trail is generally used as a walking/running path and can get crowded on the weekends and very nice days. The path is excellent for any age and any hiking/walking ability. The major draw of this trail/path is the view of Upper Manhattan. A lot of people will find a beautiful place to sit down and relax. One of the drawbacks of this path is that two sections are not fully connected. So you will have to leave the trail and then walk on the sidewalk for a block and then head back onto the path.
Nice trail. More like a path for running or walking. There is a small portion that is basically just walking by the road, but otherwise great views and quite peaceful. Many dog walkers and geese poop.
Walked from 72nd Street to the GW Bridge. Great views of the Hudson River but there were a lot of cyclists and other walkers sharing the sometimes narrow path. Overall, it was a great way to be outside in Manhattan.
