Some of the best views in the North Jersey area. The highpoint is worth the hike alone. It was very rocky...even more than Harriman which surprised me....watch those ankles!

Great loop with many nice viewpoints where you can see the nyc skyline. The high point was a bit crowded given the beautiful weather, but the trails weren’t too crowded overall.

Green trail is poorly marked. Started at Weis and followed green, then red and white which was moderate to difficult for beginners. Red and white was marked 100% better! Muddy and rocky but beautiful. The high point was beautiful as we followed red and white all the way up. Took light blue trail all the way down and it was a lot easier and brought us right back to the Weis lot. Lot gets full so recommend getting there early. Beautiful trail and def recommend

Lots of rocks, roots and stream crossings. Not the easiest trail to follow, even with the blazes, used GPS quite a bit to stay on track. I’d do it again, beautiful views.

started with green blaze, continued onto the blue in the beginning all the way to the high point. came down white/red dot trail connecting back to green. Great hike! Thoroughly enjoyed it and definitely a challenge with the rock scrambles! I will definitely come back to try different trails!

Good hike. Trail is very well marked and easy to follow. We took a detour down the white trail to see the waterfall - beautiful. The trail is more like 5.6-5.7 miles long. The whole way was up and down, so it felt like trail was uphill both ways! The whole trail was filled with loose rock - definitely need sure sturdy shoes and sure footing. Beautiful view from the top, perfect spot to eat lunch! Surprised at how few people were there on a beautiful day like today.

Trail is more around 5.5-5.6 miles. Definitely on the “moderate” side, less of an “easy” hike. Lots of ups and downs , only a couple viewpoints.

this was a pretty good trail..a little muddy at some parts and I ruined a pair of nice white socks but I have more so it's ok. just noticed a tick bite this morning but that is to be expected. the view from the top was great and rewarding. this trail is pretty rocky but I would do it again.

About a foot of snow on the ground when I hiked, but always one of my favorite areas to hike in NJ. Great views. Highly recommend!

Great hike! Hi-Point is quality payoff, while the other lookouts are underwhelming in comparison. Some steep portions, but little scrambling. Non-technical and not a marathon - easy-peasy, don't believe the "strenuous" proselytizers. Well worth a few hours of forest strolling (and the drive)!
