Lovely trail. Beautiful views of the ocean. The map on the app came in handy as there are a few forks in the road.

HikingGreat!

This should be rated as an easy trail by all means. Not much elevation and trails were pretty simple and straight. Well marked all around. Had super clean restrooms which was a good surprise.

Slightly above average for hikes in the NJ 'burbs. Basically a standard forest hike with some small twists. The southern loop was mixed use and very serpentine like a mountain bike trail, which was something a little different. There were also some views of the Navesink River and Rumson Township through the trees, but nothing too special. The northern loop was a more traditional path through the woods with some variety in vegetation. Surprisingly many mosquitos for a November morning.

Easy to get lost haha but if you follow the map you can make your way, there’s a few different parking lots so make sure you remember where your start location is. Definitely one of the prettiest in central Jersey.

Nice long trails. The trails are marked like ski slopes (green, blue, and black diamond) for mountain bikers, and we parked at the Buttermilk Valley entrance and hiked the Grand Tour and Rocky Point Trails. There are many choices and decent variation in elevation for NJ hiking as well as nice views of the water. Trails are heavily wooded as well, so plenty of shade. Easily hiked 7 miles of non-repetitive trails and enjoyed the variation.

Absolutely gorgeous! Not too busy and we’ll marked trails. While mostly in the woods, it’s very pretty and offers shade which was so much cooler on a sunny day. Great with kids and the dog. Even got a quick swim along the way. Lot was full at 11am but waited 10 min and we were able to go in.

4th time coming here. Beautiful as I remembered from last year. We arrived around 10:30 and parking was full. Now - only half of parking spots were “open”.
