Facilities

Pleasant and appropriate for young children well marked flat trail with interesting loops and a few wood bridges. Depending on the recent rain fall expect every .5 mile to have a wide muddy spot so boots not tennis shoes are the order of the day, and in the fall lots of insects. Flat fair through mixed wood and muddy patches. Several parkinglots allowing for different starts. The one near Long Hill Rd and Pleasantville Rd is easy and clear. The trail head at Woodland is often very overgrown, long pants required.

Very muddy. Not too crowded for a Sunday. Saw three snakes in a very short distance.

There are three ways to describe the condition of the Orange Trail: “well below average,” “extraordinarily poor,” or “ruinous to your boots.” It’s extremely muddy and difficult to navigate in many places. The Green Trail was in better condition. But you need to use Orange to reach it. Please proceed with care. You were warned.

This was extremely muddy, it's a swamp, hence the name. It might be pretty in spring/summer when things are blooming or in bloom, but it's quite boring looking at mud and decay. I'm also pretty sure that in anything except dead of winter the mosquitos and gnats would be extremely annoying and unavoidable. This is someplace I would not return

Muddy, wet, quiet. FUN!! Trails marked well and you feel part of the place. It’s not a walk in the park. Great day!

We took the Orange trail. It was very muddy and it hadn't rained in quite some time which leads me to believe it may always be in that condition. It was however the perfect weather for a hike and as you can see from the pics there was some really nice scenery. Not a whole lot of wildlife but we did see a group of about 10 bluejays.

8/16/2018 Orange trail completely flooded out today. At least a foot of water over the trail as far as you can see starting just past the trail head. I’ve never been here before but looks like it would be nice if it wasn’t flooded.

The path overall was decent only one man wide with brush overhanging along with the occasional tree you need to walk around. Can get some nice views of swampy land. WARNING This path is not maintained often and at times it can become difficult to pick the right path due to sparse blazes.

Went in very early spring. Wear waterproof boots and tick repellant. Super cool vegetation and the frogs were so loud they were like a choir! A really nice but muddy walk.

Did the Orange Trail on 6/30/15. The trail was nothing but bugs so it is not just fall you have to worry about the bugs. The trail is more or less a one person width rarely wide enough for 2. It had not rained in a few days but was still nothing but mud the whole way from 3" - 6" at times.
