This part of the trail is a fairly boring walk, straight and flat, might be good for easy biking though. Good signage for local plants and animals and benches along the path. Farm fields on one side, forest on the other. Well shaded. Just straight, flat and boring on this ~1.6 mile section.

The canopy of trees is gorgeous! There are a lot of briers and an stones so it is tough on tires. My bike was meant for the road, and I rode it back on the trail. On the way home my back tire popped. If you have a mountain bike or a bike with gears, you'll be fine!

Nice walking and biking trail. Wear bug spray in summer time. Some spots have mosquitoes. There is a little creek not far from the Monroeville firehouse that you can walk along.

Nice easy trail to walk with my 6 and 3 year old. They also liked the various information signs as we walked.

First to Review

I would recommend this trail for those looking for nice, wide open flat walk or bike ride. Trail is 1.7 miles if you go the entire length and twice that if you go round trip. Not much in the way of scenery but nice and quiet.
