Nice trail. Very muddy. Not well marked imo so as you can see in my recording I did go off trail a few times. No big deal as this is a short trail anyway and it led me to discover a hidden fortress! Overall I enjoyed my time and will likely be back.
Lots of fallen leaves making it difficult to see the trail, but happy to have this app to keep me on course. I got lost a little at the end - this map doesn’t have you walk the entire blue trail FYI.
Really nice. Easy peasy. A little crowded on a sunny Saturday in October.
This may be called the blue trail loop but it veers off the blue trail about half way through. I didn't know that and wound up doing a 4 mile hike instead of a 1.5 mile hike. My toddler, preschooler, and back (as a result of carrying both part of the way) were not thrilled. Otherwise, a great hike. Good tree cover, quiet, peaceful, raspberry bushes everywhere, and a beautiful view at the top of the mountain. Will definitely be coming back.
Pretty muddy after the rain the day before. Jack (3) made it through easily but we cut through to make it shorter. Spotted a fox and 2deer
It was mild/moderate. Very rocky at times. And hard to follow trail at some points
Sometimes neither the blazes nor the map made sense but that may be due to leaves covering the trail. A little muddy and also torn up by tires in places but it stays pretty interior so you don't see suburbia for the most part. Probably easier intermediate- you can get away with sturdy road shoes if you are careful on the rocky portions.
