white trail northern section up the mountain is closed Jan 1-Aug 1 apparently. you'll have to double back on yellow trail or service road. Saw people getting tickets in the white trail parking lot, possibly due to overfill? the yellow trail is very close to white trail entrance, I suggest taking that to the blue trail, then you can circle back on the service road. in winter, at the top of blue trail you can see far over nearby towns through the bare trees overall a pretty nice set of trails. wildlife, flat sections and decent inclines. surprisingly quick, I'd plan on doing multiple trails

this was my second time on this trail. it was cold , wet , muddy , light snow covered and foggy at the top. But i had a great time !!! The Good: only seen 3 other CRAZY people on the trail. Didn't have to worry about mask as we far apart. This was my first Snow covered trail of this season (20/21). I'm still loving this mountain. The Bad: The Mud and Snow made the trail Slippery , and Sloppy. This trail is STILL a Solid 4.6 I can't wait for this coming Spring/Summer season. mountain should be gorgeous .

Good moderate loop trail. Be mindful if going after rain as the in and back part of the trail in the beginning was wet and slippery. If following this trail, you can add more mileage if you go closer to the reservoir.

Very wet and soupy from the rain. You have to go off trail to see the lake which makes it closer to 7 miles.

Great hike. Steep climb to the top. Straight up. Would probably be beautiful in the fall when the leaves are changing colors.

Nice day hike with scenic views from the summit. Very rocky at parts. Small section of the trail was unmarked, but otherwise, very well marked overall.
