Started from Pickell Park in whitehouse. A couple of challenging climbs. From the White Ridge trail you can get a glimpse of the reservoir. Pretty hike, fairly challenging in places.

Great hike with my adult daughter and my dog. Very challenging in parts and we lost the blue trail at one point. Had to turn around and look for it again. Just as challenging coming back as going out. Beautiful day and only saw a few people out

Blue trail map inconsistent with trail markers. Did not loop up the hill at white trail intersection, but continued straight to end at yellow trail intersection

Nice workout trail - not much for views. Tons of leaves on trail - wouldn’t recommend when wet. Recording stopped for a bit on the way up.

There are a lot of criss-crossing trails in this area between the three parks that allow one to make different hikes. We did a longer version (6.8 miles/1450' elevation gain) this time making it a little more challenging and adding some interest with the ridge walk. This is a fun local hike and I know we will be back. See my recording for details.

Good steep climb once you get past the flat beginning. Worth it

Began in the Old Mtn Rd parking lot. We did a big loop taking White Trail > Red Trail > Blue Trail > White Trail > Yellow Trail. Steep & rocky terrain. At a decent pace it's a good workout. Mostly in the shade. Wish there were more accessible vistas. Definitely recommend to those who like a challenge underfoot.

Nice hike. One section had a nice, steep incline. Very steep. It went on for a while, which was great. We only went to the top, then headed back down. I’ll be back to do the whole trail.

we liked the trail and the landscape. It is a fun hike, some rocky parts that are fun for kids. only complaint would be that some parts of the path are covered by thorny bushes and overgrown grass. tough for our dog. quiet, we barely encountered other hikers.
