more crowded than I expected. pleasant hike, not too much in the way of great sights. mostly quiet, well maintained - about half paved path.
It was just a little muddy. I’ll definitely be back to do the whole trail.
Nice walk around the park. Not much was added by the canal walk on east side. less is more with this hike.
I started off Old York Road by the Raritan River Greenway entrance near Woodmere Street, then crossed the walking bridge to the path. I headed East over the Canal Path, but is was pretty slippery, so I walked back to the pedestrian bridge on the sidewalk along the street. The Canal path was fairly slippery and slippery there too. Getting to the far western end, it was a paved path to the end and around the rest of the island.
Muddy on the non-paved portions but otherwise a nice easy hike along the River / canal.
Kinda okay Trail. Flies around, trail goes into a park and back. pretty decent views.
Nice mix of wooded trail and paved paths making it a great option for anyone. It’s well cared for a beautiful. This is becoming a regular in my rotation.
Nice simple flat hike around Duke Island. Really enjoyable and relaxing. We took our 3 month old German Shepherd and she seemed to enjoy it too.
