Buttermilk Falls is a 1.3 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Bridgewater Township, New Jersey that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and bird watching and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Easy but rocky. Hiking boots recommended. There are no trail markers but the loop is pretty obvious and if not the road will always lead you back to the trail head
No trail markers. Very rocky along most of the trail, better at the top tho. Busy at the water fall, less so as you turn off the stream and head back over the top.
very rocky in most parts, not well marked - no trail maps, you must use this app. Very diverse, very busy around the falls, but not much traffic across the pond on the orange trail.
