Very pretty trail. It was hot out but it’s very shaded so it felt fine. Brought my five year old and my dog and both did fine. Definitely going to come back.

Nice trail, definitely would go back! I liked the different changes in scenery. When I went there were some pretty wild flowers on the way out. Good for my dog as well.

This has honestly become my favorite trail to jog. It's perfectly maintained and marked. There's quite a few up and downhill stretches for variety. The views are gorgeous, ranging from creeks, to a pond, to wildflower fields. I highly recommend for beginner trail runners.

Well marked, new bridge and some small elevation changes. Great for group hikes. Some nice views in the winter.

Splendid little hike through forest and farmers field. One initial decline with switchback. There is a small pond the trail circles.

A nice friendly trail through the forest. Since I do have a bad knee, I would recommend some type of hiking/trekking pole if you have issues with knees/ankles especially because of the tree roots. A real favorite for all terrain bikers (I saw at least 6 this morning). Doctor's Creek Trail is currently under construction and closed at a certain part.

This trail is in Clayton Park and provides an easy walk through rolling woodlands. It would make a great trail run an a fast mountain bike ride. A highlight for this hike was spotting a great horned owl roosting in a white pine tree next to the trail! (p.s. I should have read the other reviews more carefully, as stated the directions bring you to a NJ Forest Service facility, get directions directly to Clayton Park instead).

Cool there are wild blueberries on the side of the trail and they have plaques that identify the different plant species.
