Easy. Perfect hike to go on with a big dog. The water is beautiful!
Fall blooms coming into peak. Damp and chilly day but once you get moving warms up. Nice and easy. Blue trail into the green. Hugged the beach for a bit then up through a pine grove. One minor incline and all ground. Good for beginners and children. Picked a couple of ticks off the dog and the wife when we got home.

Great hike though not quite a true loop. Gets overgrown as the loop gets closer to the end. Hiked with my wife and three daughters age 6,5 and 2. Carried the two year old half of it but older daughters loved it. Very scenic and pleasant walkabout
Pretty easy hike and nice views. Very muddy and almost felt like a walk through the park versus an actual hike. The trail to the campsites is more challenging here but overall, this trail is decent for a quick view of Round Valley. Despite all the 'There is NO poop fairy' signs, many canine owners on this trail do not pickup after their dogs, which makes for more than enough land mines along the route, unfortunately.

Took my border collie with me to accompany me. Beautiful beach and view. The hike was alongside the beach about 75% of the time, the 25% being in woods or alongside the road. There is a fee to enter the park ($5)
