Pretty confusing but well shaded. There were a lot of blocked paths.

Love this trail in the winter, but in the summer holy chiggers! Stay away from the overgrown areas!

Great for biking but you have to do two loops if you want a long ride. Parts of the trail were sandy and hard to ride through but only for a short distance.

Nice trails just poorly marked. This route is multiple trails stitched together. Tough to follow.

Kept ending up in a backyard or golf course, not sure I did the entire loop. Wasn’t very difficult

Nice trail map was hard to follow. One path led to a private property so we just had to turn around and go back over falling trees we just climbed over.

The preserve isn't bad but this path is confusing to keep. Better to forego this and just head there and pick a trail (they're all well marked). Highly recommend the red trail! Some trails were packed, without many masks. Others, you can see plenty of wildlife. Beware the "nature trails." They either are dead ends or have a "bridge" made of two piece of thin wood sagging into the water, impassable.

Take a pic of map at start of trail. It was long and quiet a lot of spots to stop and relax during the walk. Saw many different dragon flys and butterfly’s and the trails were amazing and connected in many different ways

Pretty good trail just needs to be mapped better All Trails. Lots of areas where you can go off the trail and slow you down since you have to back track. Couple of slight steep parts but overall I enjoyed my 5.4 mile hike. I will def hike this trail again.

Lots of dead ends. Lots of ticks. Nice trails. This is better to make your own trail then to follow an app trail.

This is one of my favorite trails in NJ, but it’s not without it’s flaws. It’s great how it’s a reclaimed cranberry farm, and the advantages of this are that there are plenty of trails, and interesting views of what used to be the bogs. Many of the people who frequent the trail are quite friendly as well. There’s a ton of wildlife, and I’ve seen Eagles, hawks, deer, turkey, duck, several smaller birds, and beavers. You may even observe dams from time to time, but it is to my understanding that they take out the dams regularly to prevent flooding. This is one issue I feel is important, there are certainly many flooded trails, although many of these aren’t too bad to get around it’s still a hassle. After one heavy rain, I observed a side trail that had become a small waterfall. Since there are so many trails, I imagine it’s hard to maintain them unless they are regularly used, and many trails that would be useful are overgrown. There are also trails that are either connected to or are adjacent to the preserve that are unmarked as being restricted, such as private roads, and the old air strip in Aerohaven. The airstrip is patrolled on four-wheelers by the local police, who are quite polite, but still don’t want you wandering around. Just be sure to stick to fully obvious entrances, which will have useful information boards that have a map and nature info. I also noticed, however, that one official entrance is in a relatively private development, and is marked as private property, so no parking there. I mean, good for them, you know, but also F that. It’s definitely a quirky trail, although all of the trails that I’ve found in NJ are quirky in different ways haha.

very nice trail, first time doing it , it was hard to follow markers on bike but if you just follow your GPS on the app you can't get lost . good times
