This is the fourth section of the Batona trail. Start at Carranza Memorial and walk south for approximately 6 miles to Quaker Bridge. From Quaker Bridge walk another 5 miles to Atsion Lake Visitor Center and the cars. You can take the purple Quaker Bridge trail to the yellow Mullica River trail and then follow that back to Atsion Lake. This is a beautiful section of the trail with lots of wild blueberries to snack on.

This trail is poorly maintained and I wouldn’t recommend it. For most of it the brush was grazing our legs on both sides. Quaker bridge isn’t much to see either. No tea resting stumps or stones along the way. My fiancé was covered in HUNDREDS of seed ticks after this hike. BEWARE.
