Appalachian Trail: Warwick Turnpike to Mount Peter is a 9.7 mile lightly trafficked point-to-point trail located near West Milford, New Jersey that features beautiful wild flowers. The trail is only recommended for very experienced adventurers and primarily used for hiking, camping, and backpacking. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

This section of the Appalachian Trail always surprises people. It is rugged terrain overlooking Greenwood Lake, which is beautiful. I'd like to correct something from the description. It says, "...and primarily used for hiking." "primarily" is wrong. It is only used for hiking.
