If you enjoy the sound of water tumbling over rocks and admiring a beautiful stream, you'll love the Four Bridges hike at Lewis Morris County Park. Along this meandering densely wooded trail, you'll actually cross five bridges over babbling brooks, although the trail is named Four Bridges! No doubt, another bridge was added sometime after the original four.

Snowshoeing

Nice area for snowshoeing, saw only a couple of people there. The parking lot where this trail starts is not currently plowed, so you can park at the one before it then either walk the road to this one or cut through with snowshoes or skis.

Great little walk! We saw a biggish snake on the trail and did some off roading to give it its space. Otherwise, very quiet and peaceful out there. Great walk to do with little kids. They enjoyed looking for and finding frogs.

Nice warm up for a day of hiking. Beginning of trail is overgrown. Not much elevation change. I shared the trail with a bunch of mountain bikers.

Well maintained, clean, and lots of blazing make for a nice hike in a beautiful area. Signs of erosion and recent trail remediation. For the most part the trails are wide and flat, and with the short distance, should be ok for most skill levels. Some muddy spots and the path narrows in a few sections but was not a problem to navigate. Very large parking lot at the trailhead. Facilities nearby. Much more to see and do in this park.

Good hike around two small streams. Fairly level. Rooty and muddy in spots.

It was ok... 75% was nicely marked and wide trail. The last quarter was severely overgrown! I turned around twice to make sure I was still on an actual trail. I suggest pants, the overgrowth was very prickery on the legs, ouch
