Hiked one-way on Saturday, Nov. 9. Snow is pretty tamped down at this point, trail is obvious as a result. I definitely recommend microspikes at least. Well shaded, beautiful views of the ponds, board bridges still nicely usable.

Very busy weekend, lots of cars and hikers - worth the hassle today. A little bit of mud and slippery rocks from rain the night before. The color was a little past peak but quite good. Met a family walking & carrying 3 small goats - there’s always something new to experience.

Beautiful trail and very steady gradual hike with a steep (650 foot) section towards the Hut. Hiked it down from Lend-A-Hand Trail from Mount Hale. Busy trail but expected for a weekend. Gorgeous bog bridges and scenery along the trail, leaves are just starting to change.

Did this trail today with my 13 yr old twin girls. We absolutely loved this trail to Zealand Falls then to the hut for lunch then off to Zeacliff and back. Trail was a bit busy but that's a weekend for you. What we loved about this hike was the different terrain and scenery which was very beautiful and kept the hike interesting. I bet on quieter days there'd be wildlife to be seen in the beaver ponds and marsh. The Falls are right before the hut, and after a short upwards hike your at the hut which is a great place for a break. From the hut to Zeacliff is 1.2 miles further. Nice view to be had there. Overall this is one of our new favorite hikes and we are already making plans to come back when its peak foliage!

My favorite hike in the Bretton Woods area. Most of this trail is smooth sandy surface with a couple of rocky areas and it gets pretty steep right at the end as you approach the hut. The rewards are beautiful lake views a several great waterfalls. Great hike for novices or the first day if a trip.

Absolutely beautiful hike and easy. Five of us completed in an hour and a half. Done many of the guys but this vantage point is second to none.
