This central trail winds through a mid-successional forest of white pine, red oak, and yellow birch. You will encounter several boulders, which are large glacial erratics that speak to the glacial history of the area. This Preserve is managed by The Nature Conservancy in New Hampshire, and is an excellent place for walking, hunting, observing wildlife, and skiing. Camping, fires, pets, or wheeled vehicles are not permitted on the preserve.

Great trail, went for a run, the terrain is a little rough to sprint but as long as you're paying attention it's definitely easy enough to jog the whole way through. Got lost one time but I might have missed the small trail sign, and was able to find my way back on track after about 8 minutes.

First time visiting this trail. Easy trail to hike and you have the Cedar Loop and Rhododendron Loop off this trail as well. I came just feet from a deer that crossed the trail. We startled each other. A truly magical moment. Bring some bug spray!!!
