In Easy trail. Take a left at the end of the trail to walk down the road to see the stream.
2nd time on this ridge. Amazing. The flume slide is the way to go. Need your hands as much as your feet. The Franconia ridge, fully exposed and sunny on the day we went. So many amazing views of the pemi loop and kinsmans. Highly recommend this hike.
The mountain/valley views that AllTrails shows for this trail are not there. At the end of the trail you get to a river with nice stones to climb.
Easy short hike with younger kids while still enjoying the woods. At the end of the trail pass the road to the other side to continue for a short walk to the river. Would make this hike worth it!
Accidentally left the gps on once I left. Managed this trail in regular hiking boots after 5” of snow the night prior. Easy trail for the dog.
