Fun lunch hike at Walland Pond trail. This trail is wide and great for hiking too. There are some different workout stations along the way if you like that kind of thing. The trail is pretty shady the whole way and there are some great spots to look at the 66 acre Walland Pond. This is a nice little spot to get away quickly in Somersworth. Dogs have to be leashed!

Pretty hike with the pond but way too much broken glass. Not very safe for dogs

Love this pond! Wish more people would listen to the leash law though

Nice walk with view of the pond. Being an urban surrounded pond and walk, it was not always very clean. with visible trash along and just outside the path. Some nasty trash as well. Keep an eye open if bringing kids that like to pickup anything from the ground

Wonderful little getaway in Somersworth, NH. Short and sweet hike that is great for all skill levels. Wheel chair accessible and four legged friends are welcome. Just make sure they are on a leash! The trail is wide enough to bike on as well, and there are a bunch of exercise stations set up along the way. There are multiple pond entry points for canoeing and kayaking and a bunch of spots for fishing. There are some benches set up along the trail and some are in some really nice spots to take in the view of the 66 acre Willand Pond. The trail is smooth and shady and you will see a lot of squirrels and chipmunks. Get out and check it out!
